Delivery Timeline

• Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after purchase.

• Nationwide delivery via The Courier Guy takes approximately 2–5 business days, depending on location.

• You will receive a tracking number via email once your order is dispatched.

Shipping Costs

• Shipping is calculated based on package weight at checkout.

• For example, a standard "shoebox"-sized parcel (±35cm x 25cm x 12cm, 3kg) incurs a shipping fee of R109.

• Heavier parcels may be charged at higher rates.

Local Collection & Delivery

• Local delivery or store collection in Betty’s Bay is available by appointment.

• If you prefer to use your own courier for pickup, please coordinate with us in advance.

• We partner with The Courier Guy to provide secure and reliable nationwide shipping across South Africa.

• Tracking information will be sent via email once your parcel has been handed over for delivery.

Handling & Packaging

• All orders are carefully hand-packed using protective materials to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.

• While we do our best to secure each package, Atelier Fifty6 is not liable for damage that occurs after dispatch, including during third-party courier transit or customer-arranged collection.

If You Are Using Your Own Courier or Collecting In-Store

Once your order leaves our premises—whether collected in person or by a courier of your choice—you assume full responsibility for the condition of the parcel.

Local Pickup Care Guidelines

For delicate items like glassware, ceramics, or candles, we recommend the following:

• Place the parcel flat in the boot or backseat of the vehicle.

• Avoid placing the item in direct sunlight or heat.

• Keep the air conditioning on during transport.

• Drive slowly and carefully, especially when stopping or turning.

• Go directly to your destination—avoid unnecessary stops.
